Digital Art / Vector / Scenes

Final art piece for class- Vector over photographs, (photographs are not a part of the final image, so yes, this really is a vector!)

I've never done anything like this before, so it was kinda a learning curve in a lot of ways. But hey, I got an A on it, so I'm happy. I have one HUGE print of this, courtesy of the Orange Spot Gallery in Fremont, and I might be selling prints of it through them in the near future. Don't know yet.

Wow, excellent work! Vectors take a lot of patience to construct but the results are so clean.

Thanks very much! They do take forever but I like the freedom of them- being able to select, flip, outline and recolor with a click.

That's true. I do like it when I take the time (and patience) to draw something with vector lines - changing it later is SO easy.

I love how the reflection of the needle+ buildings over the Sound are all scribbly.

Ooh.
One of my friends used to live there.

I like on Mercer Island.
We get gorgeous sunsets, and views.

Thanks much! Being able to outline an object and manipulate just the lines is one of my favorite Illustrator functions.
